Now, cacao farmers have begun to grow their cacao trees in the rain forest again, on smaller farms. The cacao trees grow much better – and provide more cocoa. In some places, the rain forest is growing again where it had been destroyed for cacao farms. This is a very good change, because everyone in the world needs the rain forest, to help the planet ‘breathe’. And healthier cacao trees mean more chocolate for everyone!
