Power dividers serve a multitude of circuit and system applications, from amplifiers to radar receivers. The power divider is housed in a hermetic enclosure with stainless-steel female SMA connectors. As these stripline power dividers feature such small physical dimensions, more than 20 power dividers can be fabricated from a single substrate. Unit-to-unit amplitude tracking is specified as better than ±0.6 dB, while standard unit-to-unit phase tracking is better than ±6 deg. at 18 GHz.
Insertion loss (in excess of expected power-division losses) is less than 2.0 dB.
The four-way power divider boasts amplitude balance of better than ±0.4 dB. Phase balance is better than ±5 deg. Designed to handle input power levels to 1 W CW, the power divider supports wide-dynamic-range signal processing.
