Thanks for your letter. It was good to hear all your news.

You're right, my birthday is on June 25th, so I will be celebrating soon! Last year, I had a party at my house. I invited all my friends and we had a great time. We danced and ate delicious food. It was wonderful.
This year, I want to do something different to celebrate my birthday. I think I will invite my friends to a restaurant. We can all have a meal together. I love Italian food, so I think I will choose a pizza restaurant.
I really want a new bike for my birthday. My bike is very old, and it's very slow. Last year, my parents bought me a pair of rollerblades. I love them! I go rollerblading every weekend.

Hi! How are things with you?

You asked me about how I keep fit. Well, I do several things to stay in shape. The main thing I do is walk everywhere. Walking is very good exercise, and I suppose I walk about two miles every day.
Of course, I get a lot of exercise with my dog, too. I take him to the park every day and we run around together. Having a dog is my favourite way to keep fit because I have fun while I exercise.
There are plenty of facilities for keeping fit in my town. There's a sports centre and a gym. I hate going to the gym. I think it's really boring, and I don't like exercising indoors.

Thanks for your letter. It was great to hear from you.

I love sports. My favourite sport is football. I like it because it's exciting and it's great fun to watch and play. I watch a lot of football on TV. My favourite team is Manchester United.
I play football with my friends in the park every weekend, and I'm on the school football team. We practise twice a week. I'm very good at football, and I'd love to be a professional footballer one day.
We have sports lessons at school every week, too, We play football, basketball and tennis. I quite like basketball, but I don't like tennis much. I think it's boring.

Thanks for your letter.

I don't have a lot of free time because I have a lot of homework during the week. However, when I do free time, I like to spend it with my friends. we try to get together once or twice a week. We usually meet at someone's house and talk or listen music, but sometimes we go out.
There are lots of leisure facilities in my area. there's a sports centre with a swimming pool. There is also a cinema which I often go to with my friends. There are lots of cafes and restaurants and there's a big park where people can run and play sports. I go to the park quite a lot with my friends.
