In a small bowl, mash an egg with the fork and add curry powder, mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly. Divide equally over both slices of bread. Arrange asparagus spears at the edge of each slice and roll up to enclose filling. Wrap the rolls in plastic and chill for an hour or so. Using a very sharp knife cut each roll into 4 minirolls.
