Thanks for your letter. It was good to hear all your news.

You're right, my birthday is on June 25th, so I will be celebrating soon! Last year, I had a party at my house. I invited all my friends and we had a great time. We danced and ate delicious food. It was wonderful.
This year, I want to do something different to celebrate my birthday. I think I will invite my friends to a restaurant. We can all have a meal together. I love Italian food, so I think I will choose a pizza restaurant.
I really want a new bike for my birthday. My bike is very old, and it's very slow. Last year, my parents bought me a pair of rollerblades. I love them! I go rollerblading every weekend.

Hi! How are things with you?

You asked me about how I keep fit. Well, I do several things to stay in shape. The main thing I do is walk everywhere. Walking is very good exercise, and I suppose I walk about two miles every day.
Of course, I get a lot of exercise with my dog, too. I take him to the park every day and we run around together. Having a dog is my favourite way to keep fit because I have fun while I exercise.
There are plenty of facilities for keeping fit in my town. There's a sports centre and a gym. I hate going to the gym. I think it's really boring, and I don't like exercising indoors.

How are you? I am fine. Thanks for your letter.

I love listening to rock and pop music. I like a lot of different singers and bands and I have lots of CDs. My favourite singers is Avril Lavigne. I think she's brilliant!
I don't read much, but I love the Harry Potter books. They are funny and exciting. I like to read about people having adventures. I prefer to watch TV, though.
I usually watch TV in the evenings when I've finished my homework, and I watch it at the weekends, too. I like watching comedy programmes best, but I also detective programmes. My favourite TV programme is "Friends". It's really funny!

You asked me about my family. Well, I've got a brother and a sister. My brother's name is Max. He's 14, and he's very tall. He's got black hair and blue eyes. He's very clever, and he's funny, too.
My sister's name is Anna. She's only six. She's very pretty. She's got brown hair and green eyes. She's very sweet and kind. I get on well with both Max and Anna. We have a lot of fun.
My mum is a nurse and my dad is the manager of a big company. They work all week, but they don't work at weekends. My parents are both really nice. I hope you will meet them one day!
